Something Wrong with Gas Gauge

Help! There's something wrong with my gas meter lah! It's always showing red and the arrow fall so fast wan? How come ah? Every weekend, I pump the same amount of petrol....RM60 into the tank because it's always ngam-ngam for me every week...I don't go very far coz I fetch the kids to and from school and sometimes run errands or to the in-laws or something. Cannot go wrong with the figure! Because of the rise of petrol price, I decided to up it to another new standard 'pumping' price....RM70. I think it's about last week that the meter started conking out on me. Around Friday, the meter is almost all the way down liao. I sit there and wonder, where did I go ah? Very far meh? No. I did not go Klang for seafood. No, I did not travel for shopping expedition in MidValley Mega Mall. The furthest I went also 1 Utama which is nearby. Then where ah? Looks like I have to 'up' the weekly 'refill price' again this time cause the last time I pump was only RM30 coz run out of cash and forgot to reload my debit card. Now I really know something is wrong coz RM30 lasted my 2.5 days! So....to last 7 days, I have to pump RM84 lor.... Either that or I need to bring my car to the mechanic coz something wrong with the meter lah...

If you want to enjoy a mecahnic who comes to yoru hes to repair yoru car, you can call Ah Hoi at 016-9828841.

He is the 1st and only home to home mechanic in PJ that I knwo of. His charges are NEVER high, always low.

I used to go to his workshop near my hse to fix my car since 2005 until his boss decided to divert the business elsewhere early thsi year. He doesnt wanna go that far to another location...so he started
doing house calls!

I dont trust mechanisc easily...but thsi guy earned my 100%trust after seeing his highly ethical conduct.

With him going to your hse or office to repiar your car, you can continue working at home or office.

Isnt that great?

Maid Side-Kick

I was kind of a little sad when I read the news about this - there will be no live-in Indonesian maids in Malaysia anymore . There are pros and cons to having a live-in maid, as with everything else, but for us, we enjoyed more pros than cons. Back then, when my kids were little, we brought in a family of maids to help with...well, just about everything, and we were like two families merged into one. They ate what we ate, we sleep, they sleep, we shop, they shop, they joke, we laugh, we joke, they laugh...for me, the maid I hired was more like a sister and side-kick to me. Demanding a Balanced Lifestyle

We live in a world choked with demands….demand for more money, better lifestyle, more holidays, smarter kids, bigger house, posher cars….etc. People walk around with spiritually unimportant goals in their minds driven by the need to succeed and be better than others around them. Hong Kong. South Korea. Japan. Most Asian countries suffer from this ill-fate which have caused a horrific rise in the number of suicide rates in the said countries. Malaysia is no exception as well although we’re very slowly gaining ground on our neighbors. Just picking up my son from school can become a stressful affair. I’ve mentioned this to a few friends of mine over the phone and all of them cluck their tongue shake their head. It’s end of the year and the kids are getting their test results back by now. I overheard a couple of tai-tais (housewives) gripe about their kids’ results. Mom: I don’t know-lah. My kid did not do very well this term. The best also got 95 only. (NINETY FIVE ONLY???) ...
