Bragging Rights

This is as much as I am going to brag: I help people. The end.

Me, my friends and my family do this quite often...reach out whenever we can and just do things then hope for the better. We don't keep count and say we have helped blah blah blah blah blah blah....so that we can list it down and boast about it later. I mean, if you've done your part, then be happy about it and forget about it. Maybe not FORGET about it but....you know, let it be. You've done your part, right? Let the other person (the person you've help) do their part and the Universal law of life will come into play.

So, when someone tells me about how he's helped someone else find a son to adopt, how he's found a job for someone else, and then funded blah blah blah.....ya ya ya....

In my head, I went like 'You're keeping count??!!'

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm just weird or something. Maybe I'm forgetful or I don't care. But if I don't, why do I do the things that I do.

Oh.....right. That smile.I do it for that smile. Damn I'm selfish. The man who wrote the list down? He's probably gloating too but at least he has a list. I'm silly to be gloating because of a silly smile.

Stargazer - Stretch Those Sides

I have been doing this pose, part of Cosmic Dance (a type of yoga, I am assuming), called Stargazer pose without knowing it is called Stargazer's pose a lot in the past. You see, sometimes, I don't follow the rules and come up with my own stretches and poses. It is fun. I have on some music, nice, soothing music or just anything I can click on. Then I go with the flow, letting my hair down. Just moving to the music...and that is when I come up with the above Stargazer's pose. This pose really stretches your sides. Maid Side-Kick

I was kind of a little sad when I read the news about this - there will be no live-in Indonesian maids in Malaysia anymore . There are pros and cons to having a live-in maid, as with everything else, but for us, we enjoyed more pros than cons. Back then, when my kids were little, we brought in a family of maids to help with...well, just about everything, and we were like two families merged into one. They ate what we ate, we sleep, they sleep, we shop, they shop, they joke, we laugh, we joke, they laugh...for me, the maid I hired was more like a sister and side-kick to me. For that few years, I was dependent on her to mind-read my schedule and when I need or don't need help. She picked things up quickly and we ended up having lots of moments whereby we were in sync.
