I've made it known multiple times, including with my boys that Sung Si Kyung is tops for me as far as singers are concerned. There are also people like Michael Buble, Adam Levine (despite his notoriety for unwholesome lyrics - lol), Ed Sheeran, and old-school crooners like James Ingram and Kenny Loggins, they're my favorite singers of all time.
I dare say whatever songs they sing, I am behind it.
Other singers are Lea Salonga, Regine Valesquez, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Kirsten Bell, (although she's technically not a singer), Karen Carpenter, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Adam Levine...and many, many more. There's Aretha Franklin, Jewel, and so many more. These were the singers who motivated me. Another two singers I can name include Kim Tae Woo and RAIN. Last but not least, it's Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, and Kylie Minogue.
This is really hard because I have so many singers and bands and I want to name...for instance Maroon 5, Beatles, New Kids on the Block, Jason Donovan, Destiny's Child, Girls' Generation....I won't name the ones I fangirlled over because..what the heck, fine. NKTOB. Fangirling has no expiry date. LOL.
To many people, PSY, the biggest catalyst of Kpop into the world, is a name you cannot deny if you've ever seen people senselessly posting horsedancing videos up onto their social media accounts. It was an unbelievable craze. Maybe only the 'Macarena' can match up to it...lol.
I am, once again, reiterate, an eternal fan of Sung Si Kyung. Whatever people say about his songs or singing, I will fight you if you say it doesn't melt like butter. lol #justkidding
PSY and Sung Si Kyung has very different personas. One has an image of a powerful performer and dancer; the other is a gentle giant with a honey-coated voice. How would it sound if they worked together on a song?
Well, they worked together on two songs but I'll just feature my favorite one. It's because it highlights the strengths of both genres. It's like a musical allegiance that transcends logic. When I heard that the two worked together, I went WTF. How's that going to work out? They don't even have a middle ground!
But I guess that's how it worked out. They simply focused on what they are really good at and put everything into it.
And this is how it sounds like.
