As usual, Chinese New Year is all about food and drinks. Over-supply of food, in particular. Anyway, as with the Malaysian culture, when the host has an over-supply of food, the guests are encouraged to bring some food home with them. That, I did and this means an over-stuffed refrigerator too. Instead of wasting all that precious, delicious food, we heat them up and eat them when we are lazy to cook.
Yesterday was a lazy Sunday so..... =)
Instead of heating them up one by one, I utilized every single re-heating options I had in the kitchen which includes....
...the rice cooker...
...the oven....
...and of course, the steamer x 2...
All at the same time, so, you can imagine the kind of food we had on the table. =) Suffice to say, the portions that we took away was small so, we had little left over from the leftover...
Anyway, back to the Oscars.
XOXO,
Marsha
