Can I NOW blog in bloody FARKING peace now?

In the many years that I have been blogging, I've known so many people who decide to...
  • close their blogs
  • redivert their blogs
  • ban people from commenting
  • privatize their blogs to keep trouble-makers out
  • prematurely resign from blogging
I've asked those people 'why lah? why?' because I love reading their blogs. One such example would be the very famed but retired Kopi Soh who cited 'personal reasons'. One of the biggest reasons given was that....
  • They've offended people with their blogging
  • Other people have offended them with their comments
It's a free world and we've always prided ourselves for being able to publish whatever we want in our blogs...but this also means that we have to accept the comments that came along with it. Sometimes, when you do things for fun or for entertainment purposes, people try to worm their way in and try to find trouble with you or your posts. Kenny Sia can attest to that...he's one of the most popular bloggers of our time and I am sure he's had so many that he's literally numb from it all.
Well, I, today, exercise my right to ban some people from coming in and commenting. It's not a one off thing but sometimes when 'they' take things so seriously that it bloody farking offends me. Like I am supposed to be a super-pro or perfect blogger, poster, writer, singer, mother...whatever...and 'they' take every opportunity to jab at it/me....almost every post.
I've endured it. I told myself to be patient and understanding and this is a free world, after all and I have to accept these things.
But when it takes the fun out of blogging, I have every right to exercise my right to refuse these people entry or permission to post their thoughts into my blog.
I've been subdued for so long that I feel that it is high time I do something that I think I should do instead of moulding myself to fit into other people's world. Anyway, I feel much better blogging after doing that, whatever that was. At least I can blog in blardie peace now.
So, no, I am not shutting this blog down just because of that. I find too much pleasure writing the blog posts to stop blogging just because of one or two bad apples.
p.s. yes, this has got to do with the fact that one fine day, I decided to post short clips of my singing. I recorded them in the name of FUN, playing while singing using my NOKIN camera with no digital tweaking. Hence, they're rather raw. So if I go off timing, it means that I am looking for the key on the keyboard. What? I told you guys I am not Mozart. I'm not even done with my own piano lessons yet! So, can you blame me if I am a little clumsy on it? But I am proud of myself, nonetheless. In slightly more than a year, I have already conqured two out of three stages. YOU TRY AND SING AND PLAY AT THE SAME TIME AND TELL ME IT'S EASY. Only a few of stage performers I know who can do that easily....and sorry lah, I am  not one of them and don't intend to be. I posted those stuff just for fun because they're there.
But some people chose to criticize my 'fun recordings' and told me that I need singing lessons. Is it going to stop me? No, no, no!! Sorry....no. I am going to post more songs....just because.
I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I have performed LIVE on stage for a long time and recorded (a small number of) songs before, so....beat it.
UPDATE:
See what I mean? Sometimes bloggers have to farking face this kind of sheet in life when they write their stuff you know. Kenny Sia had it bad (I am sure many folds worse than me). But he put it in a less subtle way, of course....knowing him.

Stargazer - Stretch Those Sides

I have been doing this pose, part of Cosmic Dance (a type of yoga, I am assuming), called Stargazer pose without knowing it is called Stargazer's pose a lot in the past. You see, sometimes, I don't follow the rules and come up with my own stretches and poses. It is fun. I have on some music, nice, soothing music or just anything I can click on. Then I go with the flow, letting my hair down. Just moving to the music...and that is when I come up with the above Stargazer's pose. This pose really stretches your sides. Keep your eyes on the outstretched hand if you are keeping it pointed to the top, as if you are waving or connecting to a higher energy from the Universe. Your arms will ache a little but hey, toned arms, here you come! :-) For those who want a bigger stretch, it is safe to slowly and gently move the lifted hand towards your back...don't overdo it, listen to your body's complaints and respect it. You don't have to prove anything to anyone, reme

Maid Side-Kick

I was kind of a little sad when I read the news about this - there will be no live-in Indonesian maids in Malaysia anymore . There are pros and cons to having a live-in maid, as with everything else, but for us, we enjoyed more pros than cons. Back then, when my kids were little, we brought in a family of maids to help with...well, just about everything, and we were like two families merged into one. They ate what we ate, we sleep, they sleep, we shop, they shop, they joke, we laugh, we joke, they laugh...for me, the maid I hired was more like a sister and side-kick to me. For that few years, I was dependent on her to mind-read my schedule and when I need or don't need help. She picked things up quickly and we ended up having lots of moments whereby we were in sync. Today, two of them are on my Facebook and we were gleefully chatting over Facebook Messenger since they've just discovered the wonders of the Internet and Social Media. Since we were more like partners in crim

Project Wolf Hunting (2022) - Film Review

Less than 10 minutes into the movie, I was already wondering why am I watching this show, and in the dead of the night.  But I was thinking to myself, I've toughened up quite a bit when it comes to things like these... Happiness , Signal , Sweet Home , Alice in Borderland , Vagabond , City Hunter , Tunnel ...these crime and sci-fi dramas and films I endured just so that I can watch my favorite actors in action...they must have really built me some mental muscles.  Usually, I am the late kind because I want to see what everyone has to say about it...so that I am prepared.  I will just present you with reasons to watch and reasons NOT to. Here goes.  REASONS TO WATCH If you like Seo In Guk , Jung So Min , Jang Dong Yoon , Sung Dong Il , or maybe even Im Ju Hwan , you might want to endure this film.  Hint : If you're a fan of Jang Dong Yoon, maybe watch it.  It's interesting. I know we have a lot of post apocalyptic world films all over the place now but this is a little diffe
