A whole new world to blogging

*THIS IS A PAID POST* Payperpost remains to be one of the biggest and largest website of its kind. One day, while chomping on a piece of Korean KimChi, it suddenly occurred to me that I should be making full use of my blog…my skill at writing at just about anything. What I love about PayPerPost is the fact that it gives me the chance to practice my skill….after all, I am a freelance writer and I should be able to write about anything under the sun. How can you not hear about PayPerPost because it’s everywhere! Many of my friends have decided to do it and some of them are earning truckloads of money just writing about these stuff! So, I figured….why the hell not, right? This is a piece of cake for me! Through the experience of writing and blogging for money, I’ve learned a lot, especially about blog ethics. This is a very delicate issue in the blog community and thank goodness, PayPerPost have a very strong backbone guideline on this one so that no one abuses anything and everyone benefits! This didn’t happen overnight, of course, because I toyed around with the idea for some time before actually signing up for an account with PPP. The advantage of earning some extra pocket money for my love of books can’t be bad and PPP have given me the opportunity to do! I guess Paypal opened the door for folks like me in Malaysia. It’s a whole new world for me. If you’ve got tips on how to blog for money without affecting the integrity of my website, please share because I would like to know too! And if you’re toying with the idea of blogging for money, the safest way to do it is to do it with a big company….PPP just makes sense. ***

well, all you have to do is to go www.payperpost.com, register for an account and if your blog qualifies, you get some 'open opportunities' that you can write on. once you write about it, put all the links and stuff into it, you put the information in lor.

then they will come and do some 'INSPECTION' and review your blog entry before they approve it. then later on, they pay you lor.

quite simple lah but had some trouble earlier because don't know the rules. still don't know a lot of the rules, actually. still feeling around the place for now.

A Liberating Activity - Guess What Mine Is....

When asked what’s my one single favorite thing to do in the world, I would usually name a whole list of things that I love to do when my work is not screaming at me. Something that takes my mind COMPLETELY off of everyday tasks and relaxes me. Take a guess what it is…. If you say ‘ reading ’, yes, I love reading (especially soppy love stories with lots of sex scenes, please. Hee hee hee ….) and I also love mystery novels but it’s not the first on the list. If you say ‘ playing the piano ’; yes, I love playing the piano. Creating forms a huge part of my life and whenever I play the piano (as inept at it as I am), there’s this tiny little girl inside of me jumping up and down with glee, clapping her hands. It’s my childhood dream to be able to play the piano! And thumping on the keys gives me a sense of satisfaction when I hear the music. If you say ‘ writing ’; You’ve got to be kidding me! You mean I don’t write enough as it is? Case closed. If you say ‘ playing with my kids ’; Yea...

Malaysian Election 2008 - Malaysians ready for change

The political wrestle is over, here in Malaysia, and thankfully too because it earned me a hangove from watching the news, and reading all the readily available blogs on cyberspace all night long. With a spilting headache from squinting into the PC screen, watching the TV for news on the results from the ballot boxes, anxiety, uncertainty and HOPE lingers in the air..... BN, our ruling party in Malaysia, who has been flexing its political muscles for a long time now with the confident (and ever sleepy and gay) PM convincing Malaysians that BN is the only way to peace. Opposition cannot hold the fort properly, though, because the formation and coalition between them is too loose. But with BN denied the 2/3 majority it needed, all I can say is that Pak Lah tore a tendon while flexing his political muscles. Fed up, fed up, fed up - Malaysians are fed up A lot of Malaysians chose not to vote for the oppositition IN THE PAST because we wanted unity, we resisted change because of a date w...

Maid Side-Kick

I was kind of a little sad when I read the news about this - there will be no live-in Indonesian maids in Malaysia anymore . There are pros and cons to having a live-in maid, as with everything else, but for us, we enjoyed more pros than cons. Back then, when my kids were little, we brought in a family of maids to help with...well, just about everything, and we were like two families merged into one. They ate what we ate, we sleep, they sleep, we shop, they shop, they joke, we laugh, we joke, they laugh...for me, the maid I hired was more like a sister and side-kick to me. For that few years, I was dependent on her to mind-read my schedule and when I need or don't need help. She picked things up quickly and we ended up having lots of moments whereby we were in sync. Today, two of them are on my Facebook and we were gleefully chatting over Facebook Messenger since they've just discovered the wonders of the Internet and Social Media. Since we were more like partners in crim...
