How many handphones do you have?

Many people today have more than 1 cellphone for their everyday use. For instance, me. I have a PDA and a normal phone….a HP iPaq and also a Samsung basic phone will cameraphone, video recorder and other basic stuff-lah.

In case you think I am lan-si and want to show off, it cannot be further from the truth! Many people have double-cell phones these days including my sister, father, a good friend….even band members have two phones and two numbers.

The reason why I have 2 handphones is because I want to keep my office life far away from me when I am not working. Working from home is tough because there’s no line between work and personal life; therefore, if I use the same phone number, my life is all muddled up. Not as if it’s not with Internet and all…but still, at least I have drawn a line between the two (and more) lives that I live.

More importantly, both my handphones are completely different. One is a PDA where I record all the schedules, to-dos, kids’ tuition, shopping time, piano time, work time, cleaning time…etc. I am quite religious with that. Otherwise, there’s no time to do anything. I cannot go to sleep without reviewing what’s on the PDA. If not, I would be thinking and worrying about work and I would linger around on my computer, checking emails, logging in and out of Instant Messengers all night through. As it is, I sleep at ungodly hours…

What about you? How many handphones do you have? If you have more than one handphone, why?

Both my kids have two phones each because when they are in uni, if one phone fails, they can depend on the other one while I try to arrange for their broken one to be replaced.

I have a PDA and a mobile because.....mmmm, don't know lah. :P

I have two, one of them was given to me by DiGi when I joined some event last year... and since they gave me a line as well so I have been using two phones ever since. One DiGi, and one Maxis - DiGi provides better coverage sometimes, but my loyalty still lies with Maxis, dunno why. Lol.

2 phones both Maxis lines, 1 for work and 1 for personal. 1 phone free from Maxis including the line. No PDA. Just rely on my laptop scheduler and my sexytary for reminders...kekekeke
